This is a strategic and business-critical role responsible for driving business development and market expansion across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), with a primary focus on Riyadh and other key growth regions. The position will be based in Riyadh and will work closely with regional leadership and executive management to support the company’s long-term growth strategy within the Kingdom.

The role will play a key part in strengthening existing client relationships while identifying, qualifying, and converting new opportunities across the architecture, landscape architecture, engineering, and wider AEC consultancy sectors. Working collaboratively with technical and leadership teams, the successful candidate will contribute to strategic pursuits, support bid positioning, and help drive sustainable revenue growth across the KSA market.

The organisation is a leading multidisciplinary engineering and professional services consultancy, delivering integrated design, engineering, architecture, and advisory solutions across the built environment. Through its international network, the firm provides expertise across infrastructure, buildings, urban development, and environmental sectors, supporting clients in delivering complex and high-impact projects. The company is recognised for combining technical excellence with innovative and sustainable design solutions, working closely with both public and private sector clients.

The successful candidate will bring a well-established and active network of Centres of Influence (COIs) across the Saudi market. This may include government and semi-government entities, developers, asset owners, owner’s representatives, architects, engineers, and other professional service providers. This network will be instrumental in generating high-quality leads, enabling senior-level client engagement, and supporting the successful conversion of opportunities.

This position requires a commercially astute, relationship-driven professional who can represent the organisation credibly in the market, navigate complex stakeholder environments, and work collaboratively with leadership teams to expand the company’s footprint and brand presence across Saudi Arabia.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Maintain strong market intelligence and monitor market activity to identify new project opportunities across KSA.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders across the region, particularly within Riyadh.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify emerging sectors, clients, and project opportunities.
  • Support the development of strategic growth plans by identifying incremental development opportunities and feasibility strategies.
  • Identify, build, and develop new client relationships across the architecture and engineering consultancy sectors.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and meetings to introduce the organisation’s capabilities and value proposition to prospective clients.
  • Identify and evaluate new markets, strategic partnerships, and collaboration opportunities through direct engagement, networking, and industry participation.
  • Support and track the proposal process from early-stage engagement and pre-RFP positioning through GO/NO-GO decisions, proposal preparation, submission, and follow-up.
  • Contribute to the development of effective marketing and positioning strategies including market segmentation, value proposition development, pricing strategy, branding, and communication.
  • Act as a positive ambassador for the organisation by demonstrating its values, professional standards, and commitment to quality throughout the marketplace.
