We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join a Medium sized UK based consultancy in Manchester team in the United Kingdom. You will be responsible to designing infrastructure projects under supervision of a Senior Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in civil engineering and be passionate to learn and develop towards chartership.
The Civil Engineering team are looking for a Civil Engineer with 3 / 4 years’ experience and are looking to grow their team. This Engineer will need be working on a mixture of Highway Road design, Bridges, Section 238, Flood alleviation, Pump Stations, Sustainable Drainage, Sewage network design, Pavements, Earthworks, Cut and Fill analysis. You will be working on pre planning and master planning projects from conceptual design through to construction phases of projects.
- Must have UK right to work.
- Hold a degree in civil engineering or another comparative degree.
- Prepare project and client proposal.
- AutoCAD and in particular Civil 3D and Microdrainage
- Highway and drainage section agreements (38, 278 and 104)
- Flood risk assessments and sustainable drainage systems
- Demonstrate the desire and drive to becoming Chartered which will be fully supported by the company.
- Understanding on DMBR
- Oversee and help the senior engineer with design
