We are currently working with a Wildlife Trust in their search for a Managing Director for a newly established Environmental Consultancy in Oxfordshire. You will be responsible for the management and development of the consultancy and be tasked with identifying and winning new business. To be successful in this role you will have a focus in business development with a strong background in the Ecology sector.

 

You will be responsible for implementing the company’s business plan and the day to day running of the consultancy. This will include establishing core operational processes including health and safety, financial management; plus developing the brand including a web and social media presence. There is already a pipeline of work in place which you will continue to develop and deliver a range of biodiversity services.

 

To be considered for this role you will have:

  • Previous experience in a senior management role
     
  • A degree in Ecology or other closely related subject
     
  • A successful track record in business development  and winning contracts
     
  • CIEEM membership (desirable)
