An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate or Assistant Landscape Architect to join a highly regarded, award-winning landscape practice based in Bournemouth. This employee-owned studio is renowned for its collaborative approach, creative design ethos, and commitment to delivering thoughtful, innovative landscapes that enrich both people and place.
As part of a close-knit and supportive team, the successful candidate will have the chance to work across a diverse range of projects — from public realm and urban regeneration to large-scale masterplanning and private landscapes. This role offers excellent exposure to all stages of the design process and the opportunity to develop skills in a nurturing environment that values professional growth and creativity.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of landscape designs, reports, and visual presentations
- Contribute to concept design, detailed design, and technical drawing packages
- Support senior team members on a wide range of projects
- Collaborate with other consultants and disciplines
- Engage in design discussions and contribute creative ideas
Requirements
- A degree or postgraduate qualification in Landscape Architecture
- Strong design and graphic skills with proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp and/or Revit
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to develop within a supportive team
- Eligibility to work in the UK
