MMA SC Coded Welders – Class 1

Location: South West England

Job Type: Contract (1 year initially, with potential for up to 3+ years)

Pay Rate:

Basic: £34.50 per hour

Back Shift: £41.50 per hour

Night Shift: £50+ per hour

Access Talent Group is delighted to be working with a new client on a major long-term project in the South West of England. We are actively recruiting experienced Class 1 MMA SC Coded Welders with essential submarine and confined space experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out high-integrity MMA welding in confined and submarine environments

Working to stringent safety and quality standards

Completing a paid weld test and onboarding process (approx. 4-5 days)

Requirements:

SC Coded – Class 1 MMA Welder

Experience working in submarine and confined space settings is essential

Eligible for UK Security Clearance

Willing to relocate or stay in the South West on a weekly basis (no accommodation provided)

Minimum of 50 hours per week, with 12-hour shifts (days and nights available)

Overtime available after onboarding period

Additional Information:

Candidates are responsible for arranging their own accommodation

Weld test is paid

Candidates have successfully relocated from areas such as North Wales, Newcastle, and Edinburgh
