Access Talent Group are currently seeking a skilled Principal Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join a new and developing team in the West midlands, United Kingdom.

You will be joining a growing and new team workings on a diverse range of projects from local community infrastructure schemes to strategic national projects. They currently have a range of developments from 100 unit and a 10,000 urban development extension. They also have a number of schemes in the Care home and industrial sector. Our client is looking for a Principal or even associate to come in and hit the ground running, day to day management of the team, running projects, meeting clients and stakeholders. You will have an previous experience in managing a team, work load, budgets, and overall leadership skills and qualities to get the best out of your team. If you have come from a residential or overall development infrastructure background would be beneficial.

They have one office with already extensive Civils team in the North West of England and will be looking for this individual to develop Junior Engineers, have a say in project work and overall carve your own future. If you have a diverse skill set with previous UK development Infrastructure experience or Drainage design experience and interested in shaping your career with a new team please reach out.

 

About You

  • have an BEng or preferably Meng in Civil engineering degree or relevant qualification
  • Have chartership with CEng to enable sign off of project work  
  • Have experience with Civil Infrastructure design which will include, road design, bellow and surface water drainage, Plot Drainage, Cut and Fill
  • Experience with Section 104, Section 106 and Section 38 applications, our client will sometimes get involved with Section 278 but not essential for this role
  • Experience using AutoCAD, Civil 3D / PDS / Site 3D and Microdrainage or Causeway flow
  • Have excellent team management and mentor skills
  • Have proven UK development Infrastructure experience
  • Desirable to have project management experience but maintain a design background.
