Principal Transport Planner

Access Talent Group are recruiting for a Multi-disciplinary consultancy who work with government agencies, local authorities, government regulated industries and private sector clients to provide innovative sustainable and economic solutions. They are looking to bring in a Principal Transport Planner, that will be involved on a wide range of projects throughout the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

- Preparing Transport Assessments / Transport Statements

- Trip generation calculations

- Capacity assessments using Picady and Arcady

- Preparing Travel Plans

- Construction Logistic Plans

- Servicing Management Plans

- Preliminary Access Design

- Managing junior members of the team.

Key Requirements:

- Hold a Degree (Masters/Bachelors or equivalent) in a related discipline,

- Be a member of a relevant professional institution (such as TPS, CIHT or similar)

- Good communication skills when working with both project teams and clients

- Ability to apply assessment and numerical skills to project work

- Strong written and numerical presentation skills
