Quantity Surveyor

Access have partnered up with a main contractor who are expanding their Civil’s team due to sustained success leading to new contracts opening in the Midlands region of England. Our client is searching for a Quantity Surveyor who has experience in Groundworks, Residential and Commercial builds. Our client has extensive experience in the civil engineering and Groundworks sector who are a trusted contractor throughout the Midlands region. As of recently my client has been winning tons of contracts and have a portfolio that is rapidly growing.

Our client expects the successful applicant to take a lead on multiple contracts in and around the Northampton area. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Groundworks / construction industry practices and regulations as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills. The responsibilities include measuring and quantifying the materials required for Groundworks projects, managing all commercial aspects of groundworks projects, placing orders and controlling costs. You will be expected to be an example of the highest standards of leadership when implementing procedures and best practice. These projects will vary Groundworks, Residential and Commercial builds. The ideal candidate will be a driven individual who has experience in the project types mentioned.

To be the successful applicant for this role you will need to have:

• 5+ Years Groundworks Experience
• BSc Quantity Surveyor or Equivalent
• Expert using AutoCAD, MS Excel and MS Project
• Right to live & work in the UK
• Full UK Driver’s License (Clean)
