Key Responsibilities
Manage the commercial and contractual aspects of major construction projects.Prepare and manage cost plans, valuations, variations, forecasts and final accounts.Provide commercial advice to Tier 1 contractor clients and project stakeholders.Monitor project costs, risks and commercial performance.Support procurement, subcontract management and contract administration.Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.Build strong relationships with clients, contractors and project teams.Mentor and support junior quantity surveyors where required.
About You
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor within a consultancy or contractor environment.Strong experience working on major construction projects.Experience working with or alongside Tier 1 contractors.Strong knowledge of construction contracts, commercial management and cost control.Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.MRICS or working towards chartership would be highly desirable.
