Senior Electrical Engineer

Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong track record in Data Centre projects? We are working with a leading multi-discipline design consultancy with offices across Ireland, looking to add a Senior Electrical Engineer to their Dublin team. Our client is a very well known name in the engineering world, and have a very strong prescence in the Irish market, with multiple offices in Ireland and the UK.

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and delivery of Data Centre projects, ensuring the highest standards in electrical systems design, project management, and client engagement. This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale, high-tech projects while advancing your career in a dynamic consultancy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the electrical design and project management of Data Centre projects
• Oversee the development of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and security systems
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery

To be considered for this role, you should have the following:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 3+ years’ experience in the Ireland/UK market working on Data Centre projects
• Strong project management experience with a proven track record of delivering complex projects
• Proficiency in electrical design software such as Revit, Dialux, and Amtech.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
