Senior Electrical Engineer

This firm has a rich history of over a century, offering tailored Mechanical and Electrical design services across various sectors, including Commercial, Residential, and Healthcare projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and specification of electrical systems for diverse projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated M&E solutions that emphasize sustainability and energy efficiency
• Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and technical evaluations to inform design decisions
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development
• Stay abreast of advancements in electrical engineering and sustainable design practices to incorporate innovative solutions into projects

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• Chartered Engineer status or working towards it is highly desirable
• Extensive experience in the UK and/or Irish markets, specifically within M&E design consultancies
• Proven track record of working on Commercial, Residential, and Healthcare projects, demonstrating a deep understanding of sector-specific requirements
• Proficiency in industry-standard design software and tools
• Strong knowledge of local building regulations, standards, and sustainability certifications
