Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Access have partnered with a global offshore consultancy specialising in design, advisory and project management in oil & gas and the renewable sectors. With offices in London, East Anglia and Aberdeen, our client has won multiple new contracts and are in the process of expanding their geotechnical engineering design team.

As a Geotechnical Design Engineer, our client would expect to you focus the majority of your working time on Geotechnical design/survey/installation works for projects involving foundations and subsea structures for global renewable and oil and gas projects. This includes offshore foundation design, feasibility studies based on detailed reports and the occasional work as an offshore vessel representative.

To qualify for this role you must have:

• 5 to 8 years experience as a Geotechnical Engineer specialised in Offshore/Subsea design
   
• The right to live and work the UK
   
• The capability to work remotely and manage your own time/work
   
• Achieved Chartered Status or as a minimum be in the process of applying
   
• A degree or MSc in Geotechnical Engineering

This role can be worked remotely with the odd trip to an office - London, Aberdeen, East Anglia
