Senior Geotechnical Enigneer

Due to recent growth and demand a Geotechnical Engineer is required to join a multidisciplinary international design and engineering consultancy in their Birmingham office. This is an excellent opportunity to work for one of the UK’s oldest civil engineering consultancies who are involved in some major UK and international projects.

You will join an established and growing team to assist in the delivery of some really interesting projects in the UK and overseas. You will have detailed geotechnical design experience including deep and shallow foundations, deep excavations, basements, retaining structures and ground improvement. You will also have previous ground investigation experience, including design, tender preparation, supervision and interpretation. This is a fantastic opportunity for an up and coming geotechnical engineer with a couple of years’ experience to excel.

To be considered for this role you will have:

• Relevant degree, ideally with post grad qualification in geotechnical engineering
   
• Professional Chartership or working towards
   
• Experienced working in detailed Geotechnical Design
   
• Knowledge in 2D finite element analysis software (PLAXIS, Z-soil)
