Our client, a leader in sustainable data centre solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Senior/Intermediate Project Manager to oversee a cutting-edge data centre project in Finland. Our client specialises in delivering eco-friendly, high-performance computing infrastructure with a focus on sustainability and efficiency. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the expansion of one of the most innovative data centre companies in the European market.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaboration with General Contractor: Work closely with the general contractor to ensure that the project aligns with all design and construction requirements. Provide critical insights and decisions to keep the project on track.
  • Site Auditing: Conduct regular site audits to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and sustainability goals.
  • Project Coordination: Manage the entire project lifecycle, from initial design through to construction and final delivery. Ensure seamless communication between all stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and contractors.
  • Project Schedule Control: Maintain control over the project schedule, ensuring that all milestones are met on time and within budget. Address any potential delays or issues proactively.
  • Boots-on-Ground Work: Be physically present on-site to oversee day-to-day operations, solve problems as they arise, and ensure that the project progresses smoothly.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in data centre projects or a related field with transferable skills. Experience in the European market is essential.
  • Consultancy Background: Prior experience in a consultancy role is highly desirable, providing the ability to manage client expectations and deliver optimal project outcomes.
  • Cultural Adaptability: The ideal candidate will be adaptable, friendly, and comfortable working in a culturally diverse environment, particularly within the Nordic region.
