Senior Planner

As a Senior Planner, you will play a key role in shaping Ireland’s urban and rural landscapes, working on a diverse range of projects including large-scale housing developments, mixed-use urban regeneration strategies, infrastructure projects, masterplans, and local area plans. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, providing expert planning advice and guiding projects from inception to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and contribute to planning applications, feasibility studies, and development strategies
• Work on large-scale residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects.Engage with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders to navigate planning regulations
• Prepare planning reports, impact assessments, and development plans.Contribute to urban regeneration, masterplanning, and local area plan strategies
• Stay up to date with Irish planning legislation and policy updates

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• Degree in Planning, Urban Design, or a related field
• 5+ years’ experience in planning consultancy, local authority, or a related field
• Strong understanding of Irish planning policies, development plans, and legislation
• Experience in managing and delivering large-scale planning projects.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Membership of RTPI or IPI (or working towards) is highly desirable
