Senior / Principal Ecologist

The opportunity has arisen for a confident and experienced Senior or Principal Ecologist to join an established environmental consultancy to work in the South-West. You will work on work on multi-disciplinary projects across a range of sectors and for a wide variety of clients and can be based from either Bristol, Cardiff or Exeter.

As a Senior Ecologist you will manage and lead on projects, work closely with clients across a range of projects and mentor and support junior staff. You will have demonstratable experience in survey design and delivery as well as experience of protected species mitigation and licences (e.g. GCN, bats, dormouse, barn owl).

To be considered for this role you will have:

• Ideally a couple protected species licenses
   
• Member of CIEEM
   
• Report writing and technical experience
   
• Experience of delivering EcIA and HRA
