Technical Director of Environmental Permitting

A Technical Director is required to lead an Environmental Permitting team based near Birmingham. You will join an established environmental consultancy to lead and develop a team of consultants delivering on a range of projects. You will have previous experience in waste management and industrial activities, ideally landfill, waste treatment, hazardous waste management and recovery operations.

You will provide direct input to projects and support the wider team, so previous management experience is essential as you will be responsible for the technical, operation and strategic management of the department. You will have previously held a management position and have experience in managing projects, plus financial control, budgeting and experience of working with quality management systems.

To be considered for this role you will have

• BSc in a relevant subject area
   
• CIWM Membership
   
• Previous management experience
   
• A full UK driving license
