Associate Landscape Architect

A leading international design and consultancy practice, renowned for delivering innovative, large-scale, and high-impact projects across the Middle East and beyond, is seeking an experienced Associate Landscape Architect to join its team in Dubai. This firm is widely recognized for pushing the boundaries of urban, environmental, and cultural design—crafting spaces that are as functional as they are visionary.

In this role, the Associate Landscape Architect will lead end-to-end planning and design efforts—from bid and concept development through to execution and project close-out. This position requires a hands-on leader with the ability to manage complex, multi-layered projects while working across disciplines to deliver exceptional outcomes.

The ideal candidate will bring a balance of creative vision, technical precision, and strong project and team management skills. This is a key leadership role with responsibilities spanning project delivery, financial oversight, client engagement, and strategic business development.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage multiple complex projects across various stages—from concept to completion—while ensuring alignment with client expectations, timelines, and budgets

Support and contribute to bid preparation, proposals, and new business opportunities

Provide design leadership with a strong emphasis on conceptual thinking, spatial planning, and innovation across diverse project typologies and scales

Engage with clients and stakeholders, presenting design solutions and resolving project challenges collaboratively

Integrate global design benchmarks and best practices into local and regional project delivery

Monitor and report on project financial performance, timelines, and deliverables

Ensure compliance with relevant authority standards and the company's internal quality management system

Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence

Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams across other business units, contributing to a unified and cohesive design approach

Qualifications & Experience:

Postgraduate degree in Landscape Architecture or a closely related field

Professional certification or membership with a recognized landscape architecture body

Minimum of 12 years’ relevant professional experience, with significant experience in the UAE or KSA preferred

Proven track record of leading complex projects with strong design and project management outcomes

Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment
