Associate Landscape Planner

The Opportunity

An established and growing multidisciplinary environmental consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Principal or Associate Landscape Architect to support the continued development of its landscape team.

This is a senior opportunity combining landscape architecture, landscape planning, LVIA/EIA, project leadership and client development, within a collaborative consultancy environment.

The role is open to candidates based across England, with flexibility around location and working arrangements.

The Role

You will play a key role in delivering landscape projects and supporting the continued growth of the landscape service.

Responsibilities are likely to include:

Leading landscape architecture and landscape planning projectsPreparing, managing and reviewing Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (LVIA)Working on projects requiring EIA-standard landscape assessmentProviding landscape planning and design adviceWorking collaboratively with environmental, planning and technical disciplinesManaging projects, programmes and client relationshipsSupporting tenders and business development activityProviding technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced colleaguesContributing to the continued development of the landscape team and service

Experience of major infrastructure projects, particularly tall infrastructure, would be advantageous.

About You

We are looking for an experienced Landscape Architect operating at Principal or Associate level, with a strong technical background and the ability to take responsibility for projects and client relationships.

You are likely to have:

CMLI / Chartered Landscape Architect statusStrong landscape architecture and/or landscape planning experienceExperience delivering or reviewing LVIA and EIA workExperience within a consultancy environmentStrong project management and communication skillsExperience working with multidisciplinary project teamsAn interest in client development and business developmentThe ability to lead projects and support the development of colleagues
