Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Estimator to join our clients team. The Estimator will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs of mechanical and electrical projects, from initial concept through to completion. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.

Responsibilities:

• Review project specifications, drawings, and other documents to prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes.
• Analyse project requirements and develop comprehensive cost estimates, including materials, labour, equipment, and other expenses.
• Identify and quantify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options.
• Prepare detailed take-offs and pricing summaries for bidding purposes.
• Present estimates to management and participate in bid reviews and negotiations.
• Maintain accurate records of estimate revisions, correspondence, and related documentation.
• Monitor project costs and provide ongoing support to project teams as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Considerable years of experience in estimating within the mechanical and electrical contracting industry.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and construction methods.
• Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., [mention any specific software]).
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
