Their collaborative team values quality, efficiency, and sustainable practices. They are now seeking a skilled BIM Technician to support their expanding project portfolio.

Role Overview

The BIM Technician will play a key role in the development, coordination, and delivery of digital models and drawings to support design and construction projects. This position requires a strong understanding of BIM processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage 3D models using Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and other BIM tools
  • Assist in the preparation of coordinated BIM models for use in design, construction, and facilities management
  • Generate accurate and detailed 2D drawings and schedules from models
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure coordinated design output
  • Perform clash detection and coordination reviews
  • Maintain BIM standards and contribute to the continuous improvement of workflows
  • Support site teams with BIM-related deliverables and queries
  • Participate in project meetings and provide input on digital delivery strategies

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in BIM, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
  • 2+ years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction or engineering sector
  • Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and related software
  • Familiarity with ISO 19650 standards and BIM Execution Plans (BEPs)
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
