The Role
This position is ideal for an LVIA specialist looking to join a multidisciplinary team in a role that is heavily focused on Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment, with the option for a planning and design split depending on experience and interest. The successful candidate will lead and contribute to LVIA work across a variety of project scales, supporting planning applications and development proposals. There is scope to be involved in landscape design and masterplanning work alongside assessment duties, making this a varied and engaging role. The position requires site visits and fieldwork, so the ability to drive is essential.
Qualifications & Skills Required
- Degree in Landscape Architecture or a related discipline
- Proven experience delivering LVIA projects
- Strong understanding of the UK planning system
- Ability to prepare and contribute to LVIA reports
- Experience across planning-led and multidisciplinary projects
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
