About the Company
We are working with a well-established multidisciplinary environmental and landscape consultancy that delivers high-quality work across the UK. The practice is recognised for its expertise in Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment alongside landscape planning and design. Projects span a wide range of sectors including masterplanning, education, residential development, open spaces, restoration, and planning-led schemes. The company places strong value on collaboration, technical rigour, and professional development, offering a supportive and friendly studio environment.

The Role
This position is ideal for an LVIA specialist looking to join a multidisciplinary team in a role that is heavily focused on Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment, with the option for a planning and design split depending on experience and interest. The successful candidate will lead and contribute to LVIA work across a variety of project scales, supporting planning applications and development proposals. There is scope to be involved in landscape design and masterplanning work alongside assessment duties, making this a varied and engaging role. The position requires site visits and fieldwork, so the ability to drive is essential.

  • Degree in Landscape Architecture or a related discipline

  • Proven experience delivering LVIA projects

  • Strong understanding of the UK planning system

  • Ability to prepare and contribute to LVIA reports

  • Experience across planning-led and multidisciplinary projects

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Strong written communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Benefits & Why Apply

The role offers a 35-hour working week with paid overtime, supporting a healthy work-life balance. Flexible working is encouraged, with up two days working from home per week, with the option to review and renegotiate this arrangement after six months. The practice provides structured mentorship and clear support toward the pathway to chartership, making this an excellent opportunity for long-term career progression. Visa sponsorship can be considered for candidates with relevant LVIA experience. Combined with a genuinely friendly and supportive working environment and exposure to a diverse range of sectors, this role presents a strong opportunity for an LVIA specialist looking to develop their career within a multidisciplinary consultancy.
