Our client is one of the leading construction contractors internationally, with its annual turnover increasing year on year. The current opportunity is for proven Project Manager to join an already established project and team. Their client book is strong and promises security, working nationally on some of the largest flagship projects, in Ireland & UK. The order book / projects to tender can boast a number of projects within construction: Residential, Commercial and Educational developments.
Access Talent Group are supporting a Tier 1 Main Contractor to source a highly skilled Project Manager to join their construction team in Munster. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing multiple construction projects, managing budgets, and ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within scope. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage multiple construction projects from initiation to completion
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate completion of projects
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying any issues and implementing solutions to keep projects on track
- Manage and motivate project teams, providing guidance and support as needed
- Ensure that all projects adhere to relevant regulations, building codes, and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or issues
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry
- In-depth knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of stakeholders
- Solid understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred)
