Quantity Surveyor

As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of various projects within the steel fabrication industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting cost estimates and preparing tender documents for steel fabrication projects.
• Collaborating with project managers and engineers to develop accurate project budgets.
• Evaluating subcontractor quotations and negotiating favourable terms.
• Monitoring project costs and implementing cost control measures.
• Performing cost analysis and producing detailed reports for stakeholders.
• Managing variations and assessing the financial impact on projects.
• Liaising with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to resolve any commercial issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the steel fabrication industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement methods, and cost control techniques.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, MS Excel, and project management tools.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
