PURPOSE OF THE JOB

As the Retail Operations Coordinator you will be responsible for directly supporting the companies stores to achieve their goals and serve customers and assisting with the day to day management of the stores and conduit with the UK management.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

•As part of the Retail Operations Team you will be the central point of contact for stores providing a consistently high level of service that supports day-to-day operations

• Provision of effective and engaging two-way communications channels to the stores

• Investigate trading feedback issues, checking information and ensuring all operational issues are investigated

• Assist with all Head Office to store communications

• Ensure store compliance with all store manuals, policies and procedures

• Attend weekly trading meetings along with Samsung commercial team and store manager

• Liaise with the back of house teams to ensure KPIs are met and stock integrity is always maintained

• Working with the ‘go to market’ teams, ensure new product launches in stores are executed within the agreed timeframes

• Ensure store teams adhere to the operating procedures

• Working with the Commercial Teams to ensure promotional activity is set up correctly and communicated to the store teams

• Assisting with the maintenance of store furniture, fixtures and fittings

• Escalating any issues with the store infrastructure (IT, Hardware, Tills etc) to the Retail Operations Manager

• Escalate any issues with the POS systems and till systems to ensure that they are up to date with relevant product, price, promotions and stock.

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

Essential

• Retail Store Experience – with over 5 years within Retail

• Proficient in MS Office 365 applications

Excellent verbal/written communication & time management skills

• Detail-oriented with strong follow-through

• Ability to travel is required

• Ability to develop strong relationships with peers and cross-functional business partners 

Advantage

• Multi-site/corporate retail experience working with stores stores in an operational role is a plus.
