Our client, a leading international construction contractor with a strong portfolio Ireland, is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. With a pipeline of high-value Data Centre and Commercial projects, this is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially savvy professional looking to elevate their career within a thriving business.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for the full lifecycle commercial management of complex CSA packages, from pre-contract to final account. As a key member of the project team, you will collaborate with design, procurement, and delivery teams to ensure financial performance, value engineering, and cost control are achieved at the highest level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cost planning and commercial strategy for CSA works on major projects
- Manage procurement, contract negotiation, and tender analysis
- Monitor project expenditure, valuations, and change management
- Produce accurate forecasts and reports for internal and client teams
- Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, clients, and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with contract terms, health & safety, and financial targets
Requirements:
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field
- 7+ years’ experience in a QS role with significant CSA exposure
- Proven track record on data centre or commercial projects (Tier 1/2 contractor or specialist subcontractor experience preferred)
- Strong contractual and commercial acumen (NEC/FIDIC/JCT knowledge)
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills
- Willingness to travel or relocate for project delivery
