Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Revit

  • Support and mentor junior technicians, fostering knowledge sharing and skills development
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, technical specifications, and project requirements
  • Manage your workload efficiently across multiple projects, maintaining clear communication with colleagues and clients
  • Contribute to project planning and design reviews, bringing a strong technical perspective

Requirements

  • Minimum HNC/HND in Civil Engineering, Construction, or related discipline
  • Proven experience as a Technician or Senior Technician within a consultancy environment
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and ideally one or more of: Civil 3D, Revit, MicroDrainage, or other design software
  • Solid understanding of UK building regulations, design standards, and construction processes
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
  • A full UK driving licence is preferred
