This position is ideal for an Architect with 5–10 years of experience who is looking to take the lead on projects while still collaborating closely within a wider team. You will have the opportunity to work on both large and small-scale projects, delivering high-quality design and technical documentation from feasibility through to construction.
Responsibilities
• Lead and manage commercial, retail, and residential projects across multiple stages
• Oversee feasibility, planning, and tender documentation
• Carry out site inspections and ensure compliance with Irish Building Regulations and BCAR
• Contribute to concept and detailed design development
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and team members to ensure high standards of delivery
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members
Skills and Experience
• RIAI Registered Architect
• 5–10 years of post-qualification experience
• Strong understanding of Irish Building Regulations and BCAR compliance
• Experience managing projects through feasibility, planning, and construction stages
• Proficient in ArchiCAD or Revit and comfortable working within a BIM environment
• Experience in both residential and commercial sectors
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills
• Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively to a team
