About the Studio
Based in North Cork, the studio specialises in full-service architecture and planning – delivering new-build, change-of-use, commercial and residential projects from early feasibility through to handover. The practice emphasises both design quality and technical delivery.
The Role
• Lead design development and documentation for a variety of project types including residential, commercial and mixed-use
• Prepare detailed planning, tender and construction drawings and specifications
• Use Revit (and/or AutoCAD) for modelling, documentation and collaboration
• Coordinate with consultants (structural, MEP, fire) and manage information flow
• Ensure compliance with Irish Building Regulations, BC(A)R and planning consent
• Conduct or participate in site inspections and help resolve construction queries
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to the technical and design culture of the studio
About You
• Recognised architecture qualification and ideally RIAI registration (or eligibility)
• Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in an architectural practice, preferably in Ireland
• Strong Revit and/or AutoCAD skills with experience producing construction-stage documentation
• Good understanding of Irish Building Regulations, planning and delivery processes
• Excellent communication and organisational skills; able to work across multiple stages and tasks
• A portfolio that shows both design capability and technical delivery
