ATG are working with a leading multinational consultancy with a global reputation for delivering innovative engineering solutions. Following the successful expansion into Ireland, they have recently opened a new Dublin office and are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Associate Director to join the growing Civil Engineering team.

Role Overview:
The Associate Director – Civils will lead and manage a portfolio of civil engineering projects, providing technical excellence and strategic oversight. You will play a key role in business development, client management, and delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a senior leadership position with significant influence over both project delivery and office growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex civil engineering projects, including highways, bridges, drainage, utilities, and infrastructure schemes.
- Provide technical expertise, guidance, and mentoring to project teams.
- Drive business development initiatives, identifying opportunities with existing and new clients.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure profitable delivery.
- Contribute to the strategic growth and development of the Dublin office.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, quality standards, and health & safety requirements.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and professional forums.
Requirements:
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent professional accreditation in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 10–12 years’ experience in civil engineering consultancy, with a significant proportion at a senior leadership level.
- Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects across multiple sectors.
- Strong business development skills with a track record of securing new work.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience working within a multi-national consultancy is highly desirable.
- Willingness to travel across Ireland and internationally as required.
