ATG are seeking a Senior Traffic Management Coordinator to join a dynamic team in Dublin.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in planning, coordinating, and implementing traffic management strategies for a variety of projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations and safety standards. This role requires a highly organized, proactive professional with a strong background in traffic management and consultancy services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of traffic management plans for construction, events, and infrastructure projects.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, local authorities, and stakeholders to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow.
- Conduct traffic assessments, risk analyses, and site audits to identify potential hazards and mitigation measures.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior traffic coordinators and project teams.
- Ensure all traffic management activities comply with national standards, legislation, and best practice guidelines.
- Prepare detailed reports, documentation, and presentations for clients and regulatory bodies.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of traffic management solutions, recommending improvements where necessary.
- Stay up to date with industry developments, regulations, and innovations in traffic management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in traffic management coordination, preferably in consultancy or construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of Irish traffic management legislation, standards, and best practices.
- Experience in developing and implementing traffic management plans for urban and infrastructure projects.
- Proficient in traffic modelling, CAD software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Professional certifications in traffic management or related disciplines are desirable.
