The Role

The CAD Engineer (M&E) will join the building services design team, supporting the delivery of detailed technical drawings and BIM models across a range of projects. This role is ideal for someone with strong AutoCAD/Revit skills and previous experience working on mechanical and electrical projects who wants to develop within a leading consultancy.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce detailed CAD drawings for mechanical and electrical building services.
• Support BIM workflows and coordinate drawings with other disciplines.
• Work closely with engineers and project managers to deliver accurate design documentation.
• Assist in maintaining drawing standards and ensuring quality across project outputs.
• Contribute to innovative and sustainable design solutions on high-profile projects.

About You

• Proven experience as a CAD Engineer/Technician within an M&E environment.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Revit and BIM workflows is highly desirable.
• Understanding of M&E building services systems (HVAC, electrical distribution, lighting, public health).
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
