The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our mission-critical projects in Dublin. This role will involve taking responsibility for engineering activities on key projects, coordinating technical design with on-site installation, and supporting commissioning to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Design Review – Carry out electrical design reviews to identify gaps, contradictions, or deviations in specifications. Ensure all technical assessments are completed and issues resolved promptly.
Project Coordination – Attend and document supply chain meetings, ensuring progress is monitored and maintained within overall construction programmes.
Compliance & Standards – Ensure site compliance with all relevant HSE legislation and adherence to HSEQ management systems (ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001).
Collaboration – Work closely with site management teams, subcontractors, and clients to deliver projects successfully. Collaborate with the BIM team to confirm that designs are constructible and allow for proper installation and maintenance of all equipment and cabling.
Requirements
Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering.
10+ years’ experience in electrical engineering with both design and project delivery.
Proven experience working with LV and MV systems in data centre or pharmaceutical environments.
Strong competence in compiling test packs, FTOPs, and O&Ms, with the ability to present for approval.
Excellent IT skills and the ability to quickly adapt to new systems.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
High proficiency in written and spoken English.
Candidates must have valid work authorisation for Ireland (e.g. EU citizen).
