The Role
The Mechanical Engineer will join the building services design team, working on a variety of high-profile projects. The role will involve detailed mechanical design, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and opportunities to contribute to sustainable engineering solutions that have a lasting impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver detailed mechanical building services design across multiple sectors.
- Contribute to sustainable and energy-efficient solutions, aligned with best practice and regulations.
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Undertake site inspections and liaise with contractors to ensure compliance with design intent.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and clients to deliver projects on time and to the highest standards.
About You
- Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
- 2+ years’ experience in mechanical design within building services.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, public health, renewable technologies).
- Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or IES is desirable.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Passionate about sustainability and innovation in engineering design.
