About the Role
Our client is currently looking for a CAD Technician with strong AutoCAD 3D skills and a background in civil engineering—ideally within marine or coastal infrastructure—to support their growing workload. The role involves producing detailed technical drawings for a variety of maritime engineering projects, including quay walls, jetties, breakwaters, and marine access structures. Working closely with experienced maritime engineers, the successful candidate will play a key role in the design and development of bespoke engineering solutions.
Key Qualifications & Experience
- Experience as a CAD Technician, ideally within maritime, coastal, or heavy civils engineering
- Proficient in AutoCAD 3D; experience with other relevant design software is a plus
- Strong understanding of infrastructure design – particularly marine structures
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering data
- Detail-oriented with good communication and organisational skills
- Experience working in a consultancy environment is preferred
