About the Role
Our client is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their dynamic team in London. This role will focus on the design and delivery of mechanical systems associated with large-scale civil infrastructure projects, with a particular emphasis on marine, port, and harbour developments. The successful candidate will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams, contributing to concept and detailed design phases, preparing technical reports, and supporting site teams during installation and commissioning phases.
Key Qualifications and Experience Required
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in mechanical engineering
- Right to live and work in the UK - My client cannot sponsor unfortunately
- Proven background in mechanical design consultancy, ideally within building services or heavy civil infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems relevant to large-scale or marine-based infrastructure
- Proficient in relevant design software and familiar with UK industry standards and regulations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams
- Chartered or working towards chartership (preferred)
