Civil Design Engineer

Access Talent Group is partnering with a rapidly expanding consultancy in Dublin, Cork or Carlow to help them find a Civil Design Engineer for their growing Transportation and Traffic team. The successful candidate will work on multiple active travel projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and delivery of traffic and transportation infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable and efficient solutions.
• Develop detailed engineering drawings, reports, and specifications.
• Ensure projects meet all relevant regulations and standards, including local authority guidelines.
• Conduct technical assessments, analyse traffic flow, and perform road safety audits.
• Assist project management in delivering projects on time and within budget.

Requirements:

• A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in civil design, especially in traffic and transportation projects.
• Proficiency in civil design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MX Roads.
• Familiarity with traffic analysis tools like ARCADY, PICADY, and LINSIG is advantageous
• Experience in active travel projects (e.g., cycling and pedestrian infrastructure) is preferred.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
