ATG are seeking a highly motivated Environmental Process Engineer to join a dynamic team. The successful candidate will lead and support projects that focus on designing, optimizing, and implementing environmental processes and systems.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver sustainable solutions for clients in industries such as water treatment, waste management, and emissions control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize processes for water/wastewater treatment, air quality control, and solid waste management.
  • Conduct environmental impact assessments and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Perform process simulations and calculations to determine the efficiency and feasibility of designs.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports, process flow diagrams (PFDs), and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
  • Conduct site assessments, fieldwork, and audits to evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure all engineering designs meet relevant environmental, health, and safety standards.
  • Support clients in obtaining necessary permits and approvals for environmental projects.
  • Identify opportunities to integrate sustainable practices into engineering processes.
  • Research and implement emerging technologies for improved environmental performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in environmental process engineering or consultancy.
  • Experience in sectors such as water treatment, renewable energy, or air pollution control is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, MATLAB, Aspen, or similar tools).
  • Strong knowledge of process modeling and environmental regulations (e.g., EPA standards, EU directives).
