An established, multi-disciplinary environmental consultancy is seeking a Graduate Acoustic Consultant with 0–3 years of experience to join its growing team. With approximately 30 staff—24 of whom specialise in acoustics—the company offers a supportive, collaborative environment and a strong reputation within the industry. The consultancy delivers a wide range of projects, primarily focused on large-scale residential developments in Bedfordshire, London, and Cambridge, with an expanding presence across the UK. Current work includes involvement in some of the UK’s most high-profile construction projects, including Europe’s tallest residential building.
The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of acoustic design and consultancy, including environmental noise assessments and building acoustics. As experience develops, there will be opportunities to manage projects from inception to completion, working alongside leading architects, developers, engineers, and contractors. The role includes a blend of office, site, and hybrid working, offering varied and hands-on experience across multiple sectors.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- IOA Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control (or currently working toward it)
- TechIOA or AMIOA membership status (or equivalent level of experience)
- ANC accredited tester (preferred, or willingness to obtain accreditation promptly)
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car (applications also welcomed from those in the process of obtaining a licence)
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset
This role offers hybrid working arrangements, ongoing professional development, and a quarterly profit-sharing scheme. It represents an excellent opportunity for a motivated graduate to build a career in acoustic consultancy with a company actively involved in landmark UK developments. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply.
