Project Engineer - Transportation

An established engineering consultancy in Dublin is seeking a Project Engineer – Transportation to join their growing transport team, working on major roads, active travel and infrastructure projects across Ireland.

The Role:

• Deliver transportation and civil engineering projects from concept through to construction.
• Develop designs for roads, junctions, active travel and associated infrastructure.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, calculations and technical reports.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary design teams.
• Assist with project management, programme and budget control.
• Support the preparation of tenders and business development activities.

Requirements:

• 4+ years' experience in transportation/civil engineering consultancy.
• Strong experience in roads and/or active travel design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Good knowledge of Irish design standards and TII requirements.
• Experience managing project elements and working with multidisciplinary teams.
• Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership advantageous.
