My client is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to manage and lead Geotechnical engineering projects in Belfast. You will be responsible for project management, technical guidance, and client engagement to ensure successful project delivery. You will join a consultancy with over 40 years of experience in the engineering and geotechnical industry. They are renowned for innovative solutions and expertise in soil mechanics, foundation engineering, and geological hazards assessments. 

Your role will be to oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring technical excellence and compliance. You will also conduct in-depth analyses of soil and rock conditions, design sophisticated foundation systems, and assess risks associated with geological hazards. Lastly you will also liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to ensure project compliance and successful delivery.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in civil engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of geotechnical engineering experience, with project management expertise.
  • Strong technical skills in soil mechanics, foundation engineering, and geotechnical analysis software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
