The successful candidate will join an expanding landscape architecture team, taking a leading role in delivering a diverse range of exciting projects from initial concept through to construction and completion. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Landscape Architect to combine creative design skills with technical expertise and project leadership. You will take ownership of projects, develop and oversee design proposals, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage client relationships, and ensure the highest standards of design quality and technical delivery. Alongside your project responsibilities, you will play an important role in mentoring and supporting junior colleagues, contributing to the continued development of the team and championing sustainable design. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a varied and influential position within a growing consultancy.
Key Requirements
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Landscape Architecture.Significant experience working within a landscape architecture practice, ideally at Senior Landscape Architect level.
- Strong creative design ability, with experience taking projects from concept through to detailed design and delivery.
- Excellent technical knowledge of landscape design, construction processes and ecological considerations.
- A good understanding of UK planning policy, environmental legislation and relevant industry best practice.
- High-level proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite, alongside experience using Keyscape, SketchUp and Microsoft Office.
- Previous experience coordinating projects, liaising with clients and working collaboratively within multidisciplinary team.
- Experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to junior colleagues, alongside excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to undertake site visits.
