Our client is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their growing M&E team. The ideal candidate will bring over 5 years of experience in building services design and a strong background working on residential, commercial, or data centre projects. This role will focus on the design and delivery of mechanical systems for infrastructure closely associated with marine and civil environments, including HVAC systems, thermal modelling, and integration with broader civil works. Working alongside architects, structural engineers, and civil specialists, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the built environment in and around key coastal and industrial developments.
 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field (HND also considered)
     
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical building services design
     
  • Chartered Engineer status (CEng) desirable, or ambition to become chartered
     
  • Proven experience working on residential, commercial, or data centre projects
     
  • Familiarity with ports, harbours, or heavy civil infrastructure projects is a plus
     
  • Proficiency in CAD, Revit, and Navisworks
     
  • Experience designing HVAC systems and performing thermal modelling
     
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams
