We are delighted to partner with a leading Tier 1 Contractor to recruit a Senior Planner for a landmark residential development right in the heart of Dublin City Centre. This is a flagship project – one of the largest of its kind in the country – and offers a rare opportunity to play a key role in a high-profile, technically complex build that will redefine modern city living.
The Role:
You’ll join a dynamic project team delivering a multi-phase, high-rise apartment scheme comprising thousands of residential units, commercial space, and public realm works. As Senior Planner, you will lead project planning and programming, working closely with site and design teams to ensure delivery is on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain and monitor detailed project programmes using Asta Powerproject or Primavera P6.
- Liaise with design, engineering, and commercial teams to ensure alignment on key milestones.
- Conduct regular progress reviews and reporting for stakeholders and senior management.
- Identify and manage critical paths, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Lead the planning function on-site and mentor junior planners as needed.
- Collaborate on tender programmes and methodologies for future phases or projects.
What We’re Looking For:
- 7+ years of planning experience, with a solid track record on major residential or commercial builds.
- Strong proficiency in planning software (Asta Powerproject / P6).
- Background in engineering, construction management, or similar discipline.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience on high-density or high-rise projects highly advantageous.
- A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach.
