ATG are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Wastewater Modeller to join a team in Ireland. This role will play a critical part in delivering wastewater network modelling projects, supporting infrastructure planning, and ensuring sustainable wastewater management solutions.

The successful candidate will work with multidisciplinary teams to develop hydraulic models, assess system performance, and provide technical expertise to support decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage wastewater modelling projects from concept to delivery.
  • Develop, calibrate, and validate hydraulic models using industry-standard software (e.g., InfoWorks ICM, MIKE+).
  • Conduct assessments of wastewater networks to support planning, asset management, and infrastructure design.
  • Provide technical expertise on wastewater system performance, capacity analysis, flood risk, and climate resilience.
  • Interpret and analyse modelling results to inform engineering solutions and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Support business development activities, including proposal writing and client engagement.
  • Mentor and support junior modellers and engineers in technical development.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant environmental and water industry regulations in Ireland.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in wastewater network modelling.
  • Proficiency in hydraulic modelling software such as InfoWorks ICM, MIKE+, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of wastewater network operations, planning, and infrastructure design.
  • Experience in model calibration, validation, and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of Irish water industry standards, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Strong project management and leadership abilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
