In this role, the successful candidate will be instrumental in driving forward the firm's civil and geotechnical engineering practice. Key responsibilities include identifying and securing new business opportunities, providing expert witness services, and offering high-level consulting to clients across a range of sectors. You will lead project delivery, mentor and develop technical staff, and act as a thought leader in your discipline. This is a senior role that combines strategic vision, business development, and deep technical delivery.

 

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • M.S. or Ph.D. in Civil Engineering (required)
     
  • Extensive civil and/or geotechnical engineering consulting experience
     
  • Chartered Engineer or currently Licensed Professional Engineer (required)
     
  • Proven success in business development, including an established professional network
     
  • Demonstrated ability to win and deliver work that sustains and grows a team of full-time consultants
     
  • Experience providing expert witness services or strategic advisory on high-stakes technical matters
     
  • Strong leadership skills, including experience managing and mentoring high-performing technical staff
     
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a track record of delivering technical papers and presentations
     
  • Ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary teams effectively
