Overview
We are currently working with a well-established architectural practice in South Dublin who are looking to add an Architectural Technician to their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented technician to join a busy practice delivering a range of residential and commercial projects across Ireland.
This role will suit someone with strong technical ability, good knowledge of Irish building regulations and a desire to work closely with architects, clients and contractors from planning through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare detailed technical drawings and construction packages
• Assist in the preparation of planning and tender documentation
• Ensure all drawings and documentation comply with Irish building regulations and BCAR
• Liaise with architects, engineers, clients and contractors throughout project delivery
• Support projects from concept through to completion on site
• Assist with revisions and coordination across multidisciplinary teams
Requirements
• Degree or diploma in Architectural Technology or similar
• 2+ years’ experience working in an architectural practice in Ireland
• Strong AutoCAD skills essential
• Knowledge of Irish building regulations and planning processes
• Experience producing construction and technical drawing packages
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
