The Role
You will take a leading role across small to medium-scale projects, coordinating internal and external teams and helping ensure projects are delivered to programme, budget and the required technical standards.
Responsibilities will include:
Managing and coordinating project teams and staff resourcesTaking projects through planning, detailed design and construction stagesOverseeing the preparation and coordination of detailed design drawingsLiaising directly with clients, local authorities, consultants and other third partiesCoordinating with multidisciplinary design teamsWorking closely with and reporting directly to company DirectorsCarrying out site inspections and attending site meetingsLiaising with contractors throughout the construction stageSupporting project bidding and tenderingMentoring and supporting junior members of the architectural team
Requirements
Approximately 5–7+ years' experience as an Architectural TechnologistStrong residential and commercial project experience within Ireland or the UKExperience leading or coordinating project teamsStrong proficiency in Revit and AutoCADExperience designing and delivering multi-storey buildingsGood knowledge of Irish Building Regulations and BCARExperience with DAC and FSC applicationsStrong understanding of construction techniques and sequencingKnowledge of planning legislation and building control regulationsExperience with project management, inspection and CDE softwareStrong technical detailing and drawing coordination skillsExcellent organisational and communication skillsAbility to manage priorities and work both independently and within a teamAbility to travel to project sites
Experience working within an ISO 9001:2015 environment would be beneficial.
Previous experience acting as an Assigned Certifier would also be advantageous but is not essential.
