We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in private sector development projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial infrastructure. You will be responsible for overseeing project design, development, and execution while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage civil engineering projects from planning to completion.
- Design, analyze, and review structural and site development plans.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct site inspections and oversee construction progress.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare project reports, feasibility studies, and cost estimates.
- Utilize engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and SAP2000.
- Assess environmental impacts and implement sustainable solutions.
- Identify and mitigate potential project risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum 3/4 years of experience in private sector development projects.
- Strong knowledge of site development, drainage, and grading design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant engineering software.
- Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with building codes, zoning laws, and permit requirements.
