Access Talent Group are currently recruiting for a global engineering practise looking for a Civil Engineer within the water non infrastructure sector. This is an opportunity to play a key role in the planning, design and delivery of major water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You will join a collaborative and inclusive team where your contribution is valued, and where you can help shape solutions for critical UK infrastructure programmes, as well as high-profile international schemes.
The team works across the full project lifecycle, from concept and feasibility through to detailed design and support during construction. Alongside core water sector work, there are also opportunities to collaborate across wider infrastructure programmes including aviation, defence, energy, urban development and education.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to the technical delivery of civil engineering design packages, ensuring compliance with established design standards and project requirements.
- Prepare and develop project scopes, technical reports, design documentation and bid inputs.
- Manage time, resources and budgets to meet project milestones and delivery targets.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including colleagues in other UK offices and international design centres, to develop integrated engineering solutions.
- Maintain high standards of design quality and support quality assurance processes throughout project delivery.
About You
- Chartered Civil Engineer (or progressing towards chartership with relevant industry experience).
- Experience of delivering detailed design within multidisciplinary project environments.
Technical knowledge in at least one of the following areas:
- Water or wastewater treatment processes
- Water storage and distribution systems
- Wastewater networks and pumping systems
- Hydraulics and pipeline engineering
- Familiarity with current UK water sector design standards and regulatory requirements.
- Experience using relevant hydraulic or design software (e.g., HADES, InfoWorks, EPANET or equivalent packages).
